Winter Waters is taking over Newport, Oregon the weekend of February 7th & 8th, 2026. Huge thank you to Discover Newport Oregon for the support.

We’re working out the details but expect a city-wide event series with educational experiences around sea urchin ranching and seaweed farming, a delicious meal at Local Ocean Seafoods, and an open house highlighting local purveyors at Central Coast Food Web & Yaquina Lab.

Newport is the place to be if you want to learn about sustainable seafood fisheries, aquaculture, sea life, and conservation. Plus, there’s incredible food in Newport!
