Join us for a casual beach walk on Friday morning, August 1st, in support of Oregon Shores, a local environmental non-profit that has been working to protect our coastline for over 50 years!

Friday, August 1st, 2025, Newport, Oregon - 9am-11am

How to participate:
1. Contribute at least $5 to Rachelle’s Oregon Shores Surf & Sun Virtual Walk & Run fundraiser HERE.
2. Join us for a casual group beach walk lead by Winter Waters Co-Founder Rachelle Hacmac, along with a handful of Local Ocean employees. We'll meet outside Local Ocean Seafoods in Newport, Oregon at 9am, walk to a nearby beach, and return to the restaurant around 11am. Stay for lunch or purchase some fresh fish out of the seafood case to take home, if you'd like.

The walk will take approx. 2 hours (with plenty of breaks), and the length of walk is approx. 4-5 miles. This is meant to be a fun, community building activity. It's kid friendly! No tickets necessary for the group walk, but we will ask that you make a donation to Oregon Shores through Rachelle’s fundraiser HERE.
