Oregon Seaweed is a land-based seaweed farm growing Pacific Dulse in both Bandon and Garibaldi, Oregon. With thirty tanks under production, Oregon Seaweed is the largest land-based seaweed farm in the United States.

Our state-of-the-art aquaculture farms are controlled environments that produce some of the finest Pacific Dulse on the market. No freshwater or pesticides are used in the process of growing seaweeds. We believe that healthy, fresh ingredients can help our world heal. We are working hard to change the way people think about the food they consume.

Our freshly farmed dulse seaweed is nutritious and very delicious. Oregon Seaweed grows a variety of Pacific Dulse that is very high in protein. In fact, it also holds every essential amino acid, making it a complete protein.

It is one of the fastest-growing complete proteins on the planet. It’s also a great source of several vitamins and minerals, including potassium, iodine, calcium, iron, vitamins A and C, as well as fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.

Highly Nutritious

Pacific Dulse is a red seaweed that loves the cold clean waters of the Pacific Northwest. Unlike other seaweeds and kelp, dulse has a relatively long shelf life, 7-10 days, which makes it appealing to use as a fresh ingredient. It is extremely versatile. Dulse can be eaten fresh in a salad, fried for an umami blast, baked into a crispy chip, or dried and used as a seasoning. Find various recipes on our website!
